[PHONE RINGS] Hello, Gareth. What’s up? G’day Brian. I need to get to
Crawford School urgently. Can you give me a lift? Aw, sure. Just come on down, and I’ll
give you a ride over there. Oh! Hi, buddy. Thanks for the lift. Welcome. My pleasure. How come you’re sitting here. Haven’t you got a
university to run? Oh, no, Gareth. You know, school’s
out for the summer. And I’m about ready to
go on my summer holiday. Your position description
includes driving for everybody around the campus. Is this some kind of a new
taxi service we’re developing? Well, Gareth, you remember
when you signed the contract with me, you said there were
other duties as required, An ANU vice-chancellor at
the community’s service. OK. So Gareth, why don’t you
pick out a song to play? OK, let’s go. [MUSIC – ALICE COOPER, “SCHOOL’S
OUT”] Oh, good choice, Gareth. Hey. Come on, Grady. I want to see your head-banging. (SINGING) Well,
we got no choice. All the girls and boys. Making all that noise. All that noise. ‘Cause
they got new toys. Well, we can’t salute ya. Can’t find a flag. If that don’t suit ya,
well, that’s a drag. School’s out for the summer. Woo! School’s out forever! [LAUGHTER] (SINGING) School’s
out for fever. School’s out completely. Yeah! Ah! Schmitty go Schmitty! Woo! Yeah! Yeah. Oh, Brian, that was so intense. Yeah, it was. Maybe we need something
just a little chirpier. Got any ideas? Look, I love this song. See what you think. [PLAYING TUNE ON KEYBOARD] What do you think? I reckon that’s perfect. [MUSIC – CLIFF RICHARD, “SUMMER
HOLIDAY”] (SINGING) We’re all going
on a summer holiday. No more working
for a week or two. Fun and laughter on
our summer holiday. No more worries for me
or you for week or two. We’re going where the
sun shines brightly. We’re going where
the sea is blue. We’ve seen it on the movies. Now, let’s see if it’s true. So we’re going on
a summer holiday to make our dreams come
true for me and you. For me and you. Deep breath. (SINGING) For me and you. Good job. [BEEPING] One, two, three. [MUSIC PLAYING] Seriously, Brian Come on. (SINGING) We’re all going on a– Am I meant to buckle up? Please. Please. Yes. Are you– are you
buckled up yet? No. I’m getting buckled up. Excellent. No? Yeah, you’re there. Click it in. I’m in. That’s very fast. OK. Are you feeling OK? How’s my blood pressure? [LAUGHTER] It’s always higher
when I’m in the car. That’s true. Still alive. You’re not supposed to agree. Staying alive. He has a pulse. Staying alive. (SINGING) Oh, oh, oh– See, why can’t we play that? (SINGING) Stayin alive.
