THANKS JILL… NEW THIS MORNING…STUDENTS ALL OVER CENTRAL ALABAMA ARE RETURNING BACK TO SCHOOL FROM SPRING BREAK. FOR AT LEAST TWO SCHOOLS… SPRING BREAK WAS RIDDLED WITH TRAGEDY. CBS 42 NEWS REPORTER BRIT MOORER IS LIVE IN OUR DIGITAL NEWSROOM WITH THE EMOTIONS MANY STUDENTS WILL LIKELY FACE TODAY.. GRIEF COUNSELORS WILL BE ON SITE FOR STUDENTS AND STAFF AT HUFFMAN HIGH IN BIRMINGHAM. MEANWHILE, STUDENTS AT A HIGH SCHOOL IN BLOUNTSVILLE WILL BE FORCED TO HAVE THEIR CLASSES IN TEMPORARY MOBILE UNITS. TODAY MARKS THE START OF A LOT OF CHANGE. STUDENTS AT HUFFMAN HIGH WILL RETURN TO CLASS TODAY FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF ONE OF THEIR CLASSMATES. 16-YEAR OLD BRIEYONNA PEARSON WAS KILLED IN A WRECK LAST WEEKEND. OVER IN BLOUNTSVILLE, STUDENTS AT J-B PENNINGTON HIGH SCHOOL WILL RETURN TO CLASS AFTER A FIRE AT THE SCHOOL LEFT THE BUILDING WITH EXTENSIVE DAMAGE. A UAB PSYCHOLOGIST SAYS TRAGEDY DURING AND RIGHT BEFORE SPRING BREAK PRESENTS SOME CHALLENGES FOR STUDENTS.
