WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT MOVE TO THE NORTH AND EAST. IT HAS NOT MOVED MUCH, SO THOSE FOLKS ON THE ISLANDS IN THE BAHAMAS ARE STILL GOING TO BE DEALING WITH SOME SECTION OF THE HURRICANE FOR SOME TIME. BEFORE WE KNOW IT, HOPEFULLY, IT WILL BE UP TO THE NORTHWEST. SITTING OVER GRAND BAHAMA AND SOME OF THOSE LOCATIONS. SWE LLS, THE STRONG WIND A PROBLEM. WE ARE NOW SEEING THE WIND PICKING UP IN FLORIDA RIGHT AROUND FORT PIERCE. I HAVE SEEN ABOUT 36 MILES PER HOUR. A HURRICANE WARNING IN EFFECT THERE. THEY ARE ANTICIPATING THIS HURRICANE TO TRAVEL TO THE NORTH, CAUSING SOME PROBLEMS THERE. HURRICANE STORM SURGE IN A COUPLE LOCATIONS THERE, EXPECTING IT TO PUSH 3, 4 FEET ABOVE NORMAL TIDE. ALL THE WAY FROM THE FLORIDA COAST THROUGH GEORGIA AND SOUTH CAROLINA. WE WILL BE WATCHING THIS . AND THIS IS THE FIFTH CATEGORY FIVE HURRICANE SINCE ONLY 16, GOING BACK TO HURRICANE MATTHEW. DORIAN HAS NOW BEEN DOWNGRADED TO A CATEGORY FOUR WITH THE WIND COMING DOWN JUST A BIT. LOCALLY, TEMPERATURES IN THE MID-60’S. BLUE SKIES, A LOT OF PEOPLE OUT THERE FOR LABOR DAY, MOUNT HOOD MEADOWS. THE MOUNTAINS ARE LOOKING BEAUTIFUL AT THIS HOUR WITH A NICE, CRISP BLUE SKY. WE WILL CONTINUE TO SEE THAT INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS. HERE IS YOUR LABOR DAY FORECAST FROM THE AFTERNOON TO THE EVENING HOURS. MID-80’S IN THE GORGE. SPECIFICALLY, AREAS LIKE THE DALLES, HOOD RIVER MAY SEE TEMPERATURES IN THE MID-80’S. COOLING DOWN BY 8:00 INTO THE MID-70’S IN THE VALLEY. A FEW CLOUDS OFF TO THE WEST. RAIN OVER THE PACIFIC, BUT NOT MUCH IN THE STATE OF OREGON. NO RAIN IN SIGHT. THAT GOES FOR PRACTICALLY THE WHOLE SEVEN-DAY FORECAST. COOLING DOWN TO THE UPPER 70’S BY SATURDAY. KEN: WE STILL HAVE TIME TO MAKE IT TO LINCOLN CITY. THAT SHOT LOOKED REALLY GOOD. THANKS.
